Well it doesn't have to be. "At last finally a solution to spending endless amounts of money on expensive tours and organized travel trips".
My type of travel is more "Old School" than most prople as I perfer to "Walk" or "Hike" with a backpack instead of other methods.
of course sometimes I will catch a ride in a car or grab a train and I do fly to my beginning and end destination as I cannot walk across the ocean.
Fillow me this summer as I embark on an 800 km walking journey from the French/Spanish border to the west coast of Spain, the famous "Camino do Santiago" a well traveled route by millions of pilgrims for over a thousand years
I will be making regular postings on face book, photos on instagram and videos on youtube. I will be describing what I experience in each village. town and city.
I will also be giving valuable travel tips, dietary and nutritional information
Please let me introduce myself: I am an international traveler, starting at age 18 on a trip to hawaii. Since that time I have traveled in over 40 countries, living for several years in Asia from Turkey to Thailand and from Singapore to Sri Lanka.
I am malso a researcher, award wining author, publisher, photographer and filmmaker.
I want to show you how simple and easy it is to travel to the most beautiful and exotic places on earth without spending a fortune.
Just follow me on face book "Professor Sprouts" and on instagram, and occasionally a video on youtube and face book.
So that is it, hope you have wonderful journeys and happy, fun filled days.
By for now, Professor Sprouts
I want to take the opportunity to thank the companies who helped me with equipment for my last trip across Spain, June 10 to July 25, 2017
First of all let me thank the "Keen Footwear Company" of Portland, Or. for their generous gift of :"Targee" hiking boots and sandals. The hiking boots are not only water proof, but extremely comfortable.
You would think that after walking over 600 miles, that these boots would have broken down, but no, absolutely no wear or tear on the top of the boots. On the bottom, only the outside corner of the heal is worn down less than 1/4 inch.
Both boots and sandals are American made and constructed of the finest and toughest materials that only the most expensive boots and shoes are made of. For the very reasonable retail price of these boots and sandals, I recommend them above all others.
